What is AI Drops?+
AI Drops is one iOS app for developers who use AI tools every day. Follow Claude Code, OpenAI (ChatGPT & Codex), and/or Cursor, and the app gives you a single merged changelog, push notifications, and plain-language summaries for every release from the labs you pick. Turn on model releases and you also get every new AI model the moment it ships.
How do I choose which tools to follow?+
When you first open the app you pick the labs you use: Claude Code, OpenAI (ChatGPT & Codex), Cursor, or any combination. Your feed merges every release from the labs you select, and you can change your selection any time in Settings.
What can I get notified about?+
Two independent toggles. Changelog updates alert you when a lab you follow ships a new release. Model releases alert you when any provider ships a new model. Turn on either, both, or neither, and choose instant alerts or a single scheduled daily digest.
Is AI Drops free?+
Yes. AI Drops is free to download, and browsing the full merged changelog is free. A one-time Pro unlock adds push notifications, AI summaries, widgets, and stats with export.
Are there other apps?+
Two separate companion apps go deeper on Claude Code: /cards, a flashcard app for mastering Claude Code slash commands, and Claude Prep, for the Claude Certified Architect (Foundations) exam. They are their own downloads, separate from AI Drops.
Is AI Drops affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Cursor?+
No. AI Drops is an independent project. It tracks and summarizes public release notes and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, or Cursor.
Where does the changelog data come from?+
The app syncs the official public release sources for each lab (for example Anthropic's GitHub changelog, OpenAI's release notes and API changelog, and Cursor's changelog) and adds short, plain-language summaries so you can scan what changed in seconds.
